I am looking for designers using the www.3dboatdesign.com software to help me create a offshore catamaran design similiar to the Mystic C5000 below. I want to build a 40" radio controlled version and would need bulkhead designs for balsa cut-outs

Just FYI, The 3dboatdesign .com software is basically Free!Ship which has now become DELFTship -- there are lots of people running Free!Ship and DELFTship

Thanx for the heads-up Jeff, but I bought this software, its what I have now and I need someone to help design that cat with it for me. Are the Delftship files compatible with 3dboatdesign?

Thanx for all the explanations guys, but that still does not show me in the direction of a offshore catamaran hull file more or less similiar to the one above that I can modify. I don't know how to split the hull polygons and add the tunnel/bridge as well as add a deck and canopy. A basic file (3dboatdesign compatible) of the hull shape would help and I can then modify and detail it and scale it to my desired size (40").

This is a pretty massive request to make lomdel. What you are asking for is a lot of someone's time. Have you been onto any of the block download sites, like TurboSquid or CBEN to see if there is anything you can take and modify? Perhaps if you were to put up a start that you have made, people might be more inclined to help with elements of it. Anyway - why are you so keen to use balsa bulkheads? Why don't you rough cast and hand carve the shape in foam?

Hi Lomdel. You wouldn't be able to publish as a simple .bmp or .dwg/dxf would you as I can't read .fbm. Thanks.

Here goes. Still rough, but I made some breakthroughs and learned a lot...
