    kroberts,
"Even in the case of an ethnic cleansing, the general population does not drop that much"........exceptof course West Papua New Guinea......do some reading of what the Indonesians have done to this population, almost eliminated it.....and still are today.

    Simple Answer...

    Hello...

Tell you what we need to do - if the fish are not swimming fast enough and getting sick - throw in a shark...

I say we let the zoo cats free on the streets for a bit every day - the zoo bears and hell - the elephants too - they must get bored at the zoo - that should thin us out a bit - back to the fastest - or smartest - or most heavily armed - all the hippie suck holes would be taken down by the throat - and we could get on with things again...

Ah - wait a minute - I have lost my favourite piece of string again - bugger...

    A very nice link per 'the wife' - see - http://www.hancockwildlifechannel.org/staticpages/index.php/20080401010059972 ...

As you all may be aware I follow some key foreign exchange rates and the price of precious metals in several currencies - in these transactions, the rate is at the time of accepting the "contract" and is generally part of the game - except of late the swings are so violent as to give one severe motion sickness.... and I cannot trade 24/7 so run the risk of being caught out when PM of England Brown, donates 400tonnes of gold to IMF, or, Ben Bernanki prints another half billion rescue package for one of his mates in a protected bank...

I then got to thinking of the smaller operators who must order goods from other countries and decided to quantify some of the swings - which are quite often, (regular enough to create havoc but seemingly quite random), when ordering such good as the opposition business may order a day later and have a 6% discount via fluctuations in the US$ exchange rate - NO WONDER the Chinese are talking of abandoning the US$ for international trade, and finding another currency for trade transactions (GOLD & SILVER etc) and bugger the US$ - This information was derived from reliable sources in the North American continent....

If USA keeps on screwing around by manipulating with the value of the US$ there will not need any wars, diseases (pandemic) or other catastrophe to reduce the global population, all will starve to death as shipping will stop because no effective trade can happen when currencies are so volatile in exchange rates globally... Try foer yourself a LIVE chart like this http://www.dailyfx.com/charts/Chart.html which will allow one pair of currencies and one pair in "overlay" or several "relative to" comparisons over several time detail levels - and the fluctuations in gold and Silver are mainly due to SHORT positions in paper trade - NOTHING to do with real PHYSICAL gold transactions but they still screw the market.... The positions taken exceed the quantity of available gold????? WTF?

Masalai, don't hold any positions longer than a few hours, definitely not overnight. The leverage in Forex will kill you in this market and you can't predict from moment to moment what these total idiots are going to do. So unless you have huge capital to loss - trade very close to moment....

I do not "trade" but have a long term investment/position in tangible assets... I watch so I have a reasonable idea on what is happening where... In observation I have not been able to pick a turn or run or rally but have a fair idea of range in "normal circumstances" - too much manipulation and too distant from the "action time" (NY office hours?)....

I expected the prices of gold & silver to be at this level, (US$850 plus/minus $25), 3 weeks ago and to be getting ready to head north by now - but uncle Ben and brother Brown intervened....

This is worrying http://financialsense.com/Market/kirby/2009/0406.html and I know not what other games are afoot to tilt the playing field?

Seems to be a bit better than USA? - easy entry, migrate to NZ first... a bit cold though.... check them both out (depends on skills needs, what assets you can bring and so forth), at your nearest Aus and NZ high commission or via the web...

It's good to see the overpopulation issue finally becoming mainstream.

Along with global warming, overfishing etc, this has (IMHO) been bloody obvious for some decades, but up till recently been upheld only by fringe elements.

The earth may be able to support 20+Billion if we all live in compact highrise and eat modified algal products, but I for one do not look upon this as a laudable aim. Resource intensive hobbies (such as yachting?) would be out of the question.

As previously pointed out education and available birth control have been shown to have a dramatic effect on third world birth rates, but the good ole USA goes to some lengths to ensure that this is not part of international aid.

Descends from soapbox, and leaves corner.

Bugger that (20 billion fellow parasites) - I like a bit of space and solitude/privacy - I intend to go cruising and find a lush tropical mountainous semi-deserted island - to call "home-base" and grow coconuts and all my own food needs in harmony with nature....

Happy Easter, in remembrance of Jesus covenant with those who believe... To all others, may your preferred deity shower blessings upon you, your friends and enemies alike...

It is not the number of people, but the level stupidity, greed and virus like qualities of the human race... We are meeting our date with destiny.... Again...

Yes everybody it is easter when gentle Jesus was murdered on a stick and came back to life in a cave three days after he died for our sins?????????????

If hes going to come back ,-- right now might be a good time. But please --a better appearance than in a barn with a Donkey. I advize a big flash in the sky and land on the top of a skyscraper somewhere. Dont make the same mistake as last time being all meek and mild as a carpenter . Show some authority this time, or believe me you will be back on the stick.

Bit more thunder and flashes impresses, and more water into wine please in front of the BBC. Faith alone? its so hard.
