grizzly boat by tracker marine

factory set up 2072 with 125merc have to trim in motor all most all the way to prevent porposing mounted in 2nd hole from top on motor. went to first hole didnt help about 650 lbs in back of boat added 140lbs to front no help :?:

 

(does everyone in omaha talk like this?) Is this a inherent issue with this boat model? are they all like this? how far is the cavitation plate from the hull bottom (vertically?) This boat draws very little water for it's weight, This means that your line of thrust from the prop is well below your c of g. Some hull configurations will porpoise between certain angles of trim. In these cases it can be fixed by mounting the motor further aft (on a bracket) and at a different angle so that you can trim your line of thrust above and below your c of g. What speeds do you get this at? 125 seems to be the biggest engine available for this girzzly.

motor on grizzly 2072 is mounted with cavatation plate at the bottom of transom at the correct position. i lowered motor one hole on transom mounting hole and this did not help. manufacturer at springfield mo said to try raising motor one hole which would raise plate about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2" above transom bottom havent tried yet. don't know what you ment by everyone talking like that but we are from the U.S.
