That reminds me. I must check what happens if I shoot through the foam I use for my boat. If it does not seal one can probably just ply it with a small piece :D

They dont shoot your boat they get on it first then shoot you. Its quite easy really because you dont go fast and they do.

They get on the back of your boat because at this point your too **** scared to do anything even though you have a big gun.

The trouble is if they see you standing there with a big gun they will just gun you down and **** the wife while the older guys rampage your private belongings throwing over the side the **** they dont want.

If you need a protocol sheet of Pirate activity and procedure ,---well there isnt one. Fks sake!!!

So the best anti-pirate weapon is a shotgun with buckshot and the guts to use it....

No its too late by then. the best deterent is to not be there, or be in a convoy.

I would have an Uzi, a hand gun concealed inside the boat and some hand grenades and a load of flares with flare gun.

Socotra is the place not to be.

Take into consideration storage of these things and in some countries are illegal to have on board whilst there.

Yeah, I know Frosty... I am thinking of shotgun for US. Doesn't have to be registered or permitted, it is a hunting gun. Believe it or not there are prirates in US waters, they are usually disguised as crew...

shipping lanes ain't like pavements or whatever you guys call them, ther's no markings as to what is and what ain't

As Frosty sez (how I hate agreeing with that guy but a lot of the time he makes sense - he's where its at FFS) the best way is DON'T GO THERE! IF YOU MUST GO THERE BE LOADED FOR BEAR! AND BE READY TO KILL.....PIRATES AIN'T PLAYING, CHILDREN, they actually mean you harm, better be ready for it if you ain't stay away!

Yes fanie I know,-- its all been said before. I was going to tell mydolphin to get off his arse and look back through the early days,--the days when walrus was argumentatve too and just did'nt agree with me all the time.

He would have been what 5 years younger. I cant be bothered to look what with this Thia connection being crap and they have the cheek to charge me 2 dollars a month for it. I think I need blue teeth and a broad band aid thing, what ever.

Hey fanny do us a favour and nip over the border and shoot Mugabe for me would you, he is annoying me.

Why do they have to be dead to be a war criminal, they got Sadam,--he was killed before he died.

Post ...post toasties to you too!!!

Careful how you treat your monkeys http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/770956/monkey-kills-master-with-coconut

"...An overworked monkey has taken revenge on his owner, killing him with a coconut. - - - - Thai man Leilit Janchoom, 48, forced the animal to retrieve the fruit which were then sold for about 10c each. - - - - The monkey, named Brother Kwan, reportedly hated being forced to climb as high as 50m but was given beatings if he did not do as his master wished. - - - - It is believed that the frustrated primate eventually snapped, launching a coconut at Janchoom from a high branch at the Thai province of Nakorn Sri Thammarat. - - - - He died at the scene from a head injury. - - - - Janchoom’s widow said that Brother Kwan "seemed lovable" when they bought him for about $275, UK newspaper The Telegraph reports. - - - - It is not clear what happened to the animal after the attack...."

mmmm could be, but more likley the coconut fell on him ,--to aim and make a hit from that hight !! well you would have to be good.

I see these monkeys sitting on the pick up at the back, they have their own little seat right at the back while the pick up is overloaded with nuts.

The story does'nt sound just right to me.
