    Dear Also Concerned

thanks for sharing your identity with us , legitimating this way your claims .

Thanks for the exceptional value of your posts : the huge amount of documentation provided should really convince everybody from now on .

It is probatory material enough for sending RB directly to the Death -Arm !

I would recommend , if not the case yet , a career of yourself as Attorney at Law in the highest insitutions ,ideally in the Supreme Court , as in very few cases in my life , i have seen collected and documented , all together , so many evidences .

Congratulations and keep going the good work !

Been in the market to have my own 38' Wharram constructed. When I learned through this forum that a certain dude, Creed, was not willing to take delivery of his recently completed Tiki 38, I made some enquiries, and I am now in Koh Chang, checking out this magnificently built and finished vessel. I have spoken to the very experienced and knowledgeable man (and his assistant, both owners pf their own yachts) who sailed the Tiki from Pattaya to Koh Chang. Praise all round. C'mon dude, please get serious. How do you sail a boat, in the sea, from Pattaya to Koh Chang, with a defective steering system etc. etc. I can understand why you are concerned about your health. Guess it is not the first boo boo you have made in your life, you sound like a real loser and a malicious liar.

    Hello Blue Swan,

If you are in the market for a Wharram as I mentioned Gunther Nutt ( from Lichtenstein - nearly Swiss) is the official Wharram builder. He is in Phuket. His number is 08-72638589. He has built 3 or more 38s already. Two are being used for charter by Makz / Siam Sailing here in Phuket. Another is a private boat. The charter 38s have been chartering bareboat here for at least 4 years and are still going strong. The is a large 55 foot Wharram in Koh Chang owner by Nigel - built by Gunther. Phil from Gulf Charters is involved with Nigel for charters. Have a look at that one. Nigel is a old mate of James Wharram

    ******* Cabriolet

Hello A******. Price is 9M Baht plus VAT. They come with everything included Dinghy etc and will be the first cats in the region to have sewerage treatment systems fitted on the toilets. I gather you looked at the inclusions list. First cat will be a demo and charter cat owned by Composite Catamarans. It will race in a weekend multihull regatta the weekend before Phuket Raceweek www.phuketraceweek.com and in Raceweek as well. One of the co-designers Alan Carwardine from Allyacht Spars Australia will the the sailing master aboard. Rather than buy then test here you can test before you buy!

The price would be a much less if they took all the extras off but the cat is supposed to be hop in put fuel and water aboard and go with only linen, pots and pans, cutlery and plates to buy. I hear they may include those as well.
You still have to buy them anyway. Here it is done for you.

So no boat is launched yet? Will talk about price/quality when it is on water. Be realistic.

I don't know this builder, this is newcomer in the industry. Average liftetime of newcomer boatbuilder here is 2 years and one - hopefully completed - boat :)

  9. I confirm, Nigel 52 ft is moored next my house. Nothing to do with level of finishing of Tiki 38 in question.

  10. Saw thousand projects with good premises in this country. First build the boat, then will see!!.

So you have been aboard the 10 Wharram cats that Gunther has built in Phuket? And can make a accurate comparison.

Gunthers company is Seascape by the way and has been operating since 1990. One of the first yachts he built was a 70 footer called Meroja which is now a charter boat in Phuket. All timber construction. Listed with Asia Marine and other agents. So he has survived the 2 year casualty rate for new builders

A number of this design has been built in Australia before. This is the first in Thailand. Build is well underway at the moment.

Builder is Composite Yachts - Swiss run. This builder has been here and in operation for some 5 years so has also survived the 2 years. He has built 6 boats so far from 30 foot to 44 foot. Current project is a protoype 11M composite and alloy power cat New Zealand design and the 38 foot A****** Cabriolet Australian design. Soon to start for a French customer a 50 foot sailing cat French design. Other projects in line. No shortage of customers and work even though a very small operation.
I gather you are a experienced boatbuilder in the industry in Thailand or elsewhere as you seem to have a very good handle on value of boats and failure rates of builders. Interested to know how many you know that have failed in two years in Thailand?

What do you think of Nigels cat. It was the third cat built by Gunther.

Not all of them, but two are well enough to make a conclusion.
I have also seen 38' built by RB by my own eyes, difference is evident.
