Flat spot, pad at the Transon on Cig Boats?

    big-boss - not to discourage you....there are several instances of vee hull owners "converting" their design to a vee-pad design. It's not a "normal" modification, but if the pad is properly designed, and it's more performance that you're looking for, and you consider the side-effects, it's possible and it's been done successfully.

    Delta keel

    Does anyone have anymore information on Delta keels?
    Are they feasible on a modern 18ft sporting fish boat with an outboard?
