best hull design for high speed boat

    please help in choosing the design of the best and fast boat

    so please tell me which design is the best...........

    Are you sailing, or powering?
    Are you doing this in calm, flat water or in rough water?
    How much "stuff" do you want to carry?
    For what distance do you want to be able to travel at high speed?
    Do you want comfort as well? Cheapness? Good looks? :)
    And, last but not least, how much do you plan on spending on this boat?

    All the above will have some bearing on what is the "Best" hull for the job.

    i am powering
    calm, flat water
    not too much stuff
    short distance
    the cost does not matter

    i want to design a fast boat but i am not sure about the hull shape yet. i want to decide which hull shape is better than the other based on calculation and data. this design is for salling not for powering

    choose a flat bottomed monohull with a big outboard engine.
    This is good for glass flat water, though the first wave will knock your teeth out.
