oh I have - responses are unfortunatley - go to deisel or change gears to 2.5:1 and find 6 blade rollas all of which are too much money for a working slob with two in college. Looking for a cost effective solution

I dont mean to insult your intelligence but both engines are on 8 cylinders? Air filters clean and WOT is available (at the carbs). has some one made the exhausts? Can you blip the engines up over 4100 in neutral.

    Have you any pics

    yes they blip to 5k
    everything looks clean and good
no insults taken - I have checked and rechecked fuel delivery etc.

Next step is to get the motors pulled and dynoed. Also changing out the Borg Warner 71s for a pair of healthy 72Cs which can take more power/torque and I will change the ratio from 1.5:1 to 2.10:1.

This way I will know th power of the motors - no guessing - and know the gears are not slipping. Wish me luck - had to wait for dollars to be available so took a year off from boating.
