    Buccaneer 24 Plans??

    Old Sailor,

I have a Buccnaeer 24 and have been searching for the plans for over a year!! Is it true that you still have a copy of the plans available? If so, how do I get a copy of them from you? Thank you so much!

KALONA. Refer to my post #1 in this thread. I will E-mail you.
You can't send or receive Private Messages until you have made 5 posts. So suppose you will have to tell us some things about your B24, and perhaps ask some questions for the next 4 posts. LOL.

Thank you. My boat is one of the fastest out on the bay! I have been working on the boat for a year and is my life now.

    Thank you

I thought that I would never find the plans for the boat and had given up. I could only imagine how things were supposed to be in the plans as the boat has gone through different owners making minor changes through the years.

    Free Boat

I received her from a friend of a friend that needed a good home for the boat as he had prior arrangements to move to Hawaii to live with his girlfriend. I have learned alot of great life lessons since I have had the boat. :)

Thank you for the three-view. I can't wait to see every detail of the Buccaneer in the set of plans that you sent. I have always admired Crowthers design and believe that it was way ahead of it's time. You could tell one thing about the builder of my boat. It was not his first build as it is a floating piece of art and tough as nails.

How did you end up with the plans for the buccaneer 24. I thought that they had been lost forever?

    Good picture

Kalona, Would you mind posting the pic to the Buccaneer 24 forum? I am going to post some of my boat soon, each one is different, its nice to see the details. Look on the 22-24 trimaran forum for some more interesting buc 24s. Bruce

I found them in a box of old stuff which had been under the house for a long time. They were 37 yrs old and in bad shape.

With many hours of patient restoration I was able to bring them up to a condition where they could be re-printed to an as new state.

I resisted the temptation to make changes to the plans---so they faithfully present the original in every respect.

Any mods you make are up to you, and unless you intend to use the boat for serious racing, I suggest you build it exactly as designed.

PayPal is the easiest and most secure way, for both parties.

The plans are shipped in a Post Pac Tough Bag, by international Air Mail. :D
