I've been using Freeship for years and have never had any kind of problem with it. Now I have a control point that is in the middle of a dingy design that has somehow changed itself to a corner point. I have tried clicking the corner point dialog box and it will remove the check mark but it just won't change the corner. I have tried shutting down and restarting both Freeship and my computer. I have tried inserting another point and deleting the problem point but when I delete the problem point it takes away 3/4 of my bottom.

I could, I guess just do the design over, unless someone has some suggestions on how to fix the point.

    Thanks,

    JP

The picture isn't big enough to see exactly what is going on. Is the point in the middle of space? Suggestion 1: Have you tried not deleting it but collapsing it? Suggestion 2: turn on faces and get your bottom panels onto one layer, then try deleting the point. if that doesn't work, try creating a new layer and assigning that point only to the layer then delete it. If worse comes to worse...copy all the info for each point that makes the centerline, delete the layer and extrude a new bottom, then adjust your points to match what you had. Make a backup copy before messing with things in any case.

First of all, if three crease edges meet in an point then that point is always a corner point, can't change that.

To remove a point (and maintaining the geometry) use collapse rather than delete. The collapse option only works if the point connect exactly two edges.
