That has me confused - lots and lots of "daytrippers" not much serious game fishing gear, or, boats with tuna towers, not much radar fitted and no yacht masts. Surrounding area could well be flat - hence the raised lighthouse, and lack of "high rise" or any other residential buildings (plural) and the activity areas local or in close proximity?

I'll give you a hint, it's not a lighthouse, however, it is the second tallest memorial in the US behind the Washinginton Monument. The upper deck is taller than the torch on the Statue of Liberty 317 feet. I guess that may have given it away.

Cocoa 321-690-1971; Brevard Community College Astronaut Memorial ... It is the second tallest lighthouse in the U.S., and tallest open to the public. ...?

    # Ponce Inlet Lighthouse offers panoramic views of the Halifax River, Ponce Inlet & Atlantic Ocean. It is the second tallest lighthouse in the U.S., and tallest open to the public. Guided tours of maritime museum are available for groups. Daytona Beach ?

? I am now totally lost in a maze of sprawling suburbia trying to find stuff I did a C&P from wikkipedia???? - Never been to USA and no great desire to cross the PAcific, Panama and Gulf of Mexico to find out hehehehe
