I'm looking for plans to build a 34ft sloop in wood/epoxy with a round bilge. Can anyone recommend a design or some stock plans, please? I'm looking for something either very modern or something classic and stylish. What I don't want is the dated slab-sided Bruce Roberts look or the plain old fashioned Ted Brewer designs. All advice welcome, thanks.

Maybe something like this we designed last year:

It is a wood-epoxy-yacht with 40 feet in length - we also did a draft for 33 ft, but the customer decided to order a 40ft-version and a ccouple of days his company went bancrupt and we just got a small amount for our work :(

    greets, Udo

    Try Dudley Dix's Didi 34. It's plywood/epoxy with a round bilge. He's at dixdesign.com

hi peter - all the links above are good, but - and ive said this before - why don't you decide what you want in more detail and post a brief here for people to play with and see what emerges? It doesn't take long to rough out a basic concept, and it would be interesting to see what people come up with... . You may even end up with a complete, detailed design that dream boat you want!

This is 34' LOD, 7' beam, 23' 4" DWL a good size daysailer. Can be a sloop. cutter or yawl, intended for lap ply, but could be molded, strip planked or your choise.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to come up with some ideas to help me. The building technique that I'm interested in is diagonal cold molded plank/veneer. One of the stock plans that I have looked at and liked so far is the Van de Stadt 34 round bilge version. The Samoa 34/5 seems like another attractive option. I've appreciated very much some of the classic designs but I'm now tending towards the modern for personal reasons.
