where to find boat interiors?

Im studiing architecture and I want to do something based on boat construction... So, I want to ask, if there are any pictures of boat interiors or interiors of house-boats or houses based on boats...
Ps: Im not searching for navy boats ect, bus modern design, made out of wood, steel... Im not sure if my question is easy to understand, cause my english is not googd enough...thx

 

A Look Inside

Many magazines should be able to give you some good pictures of interiors for ideas of trends, styles, etc. In the United States, I read Yachting, Power and Motoryacht, Boat International USA, Boat International, and Showboats International. Some of these may be available in your country as well.

On the Web, look at Andrew Winch Designs’ Web site, http://www.andrew-winch-designs.co.uk/. This is a premier design firm, and his site has pictures of many yacht projects. Patrick Knowles Designs, www.patrickknowlesdesigns.com/, is also a good site to visit, but you might need to download Flash software to view it, and you need to wait for it to load its pages. Applied Concepts Unleashed, www.acunleashed.com, does exterior and interior design for yachts as well as other types of industrial design. Also, if you look at www.showboats.com , in the Yacht Charter section, you should find some good interior pictures.

You might wish to sign up for the free subscriptions to the following sites: www.megayacht.com, and www.seacraft-interiors.com. These give some general news and design trend information in the boat and yacht design field.
