GL: transverse, longitudinals and mixed framing

I have just read through the GL rule in more detail and put it into a spreadsheet on the way up to worst case fwd loads.

For a 60 foot hull longitudinally framed with supporting ring frames that I plugged the numbers in for GL appears slightly stronger by a few % than ABS ORY for longitudinals and transverses and hull plating. (thats as far as I've gone so far )

GL also allows the rule to be used for workboats by scaling the plating by 1.2 and the framing by 1.44.

I'd like to check this against someone else's spreadsheet it is so easy to make a mistake in a large spreadsheet based on standards.

GL also mention the availability of some software to to this. Does anyone know anything about this?

If GL are really pushing their services globally they could respond better to my emails At least Arvy seems to get replies.
