I'm in the process of installing a new motor and exhaust system into my sailboat. My concern is the distance from the high rise exhaust where the water is injected to the waterlift muffler. Is there a rule of thumb for how far the drop should be? This is a 38 hp diesel with a 2" exhaust and the waterlift muffler is round in shape 8,5"x14"
    Thanks for any help

The best is to make it as high as you can! without too much back pressure for the engine.

Simplest is a larger 12inch diameter (instead of 6 inch) water lift muffler .
