i don't know if it will help. there is a gentleman named graeme king who is a master boat builder. he used to sale plans for rowing shells. i tried to do a search for him but had no luck. but i am sure he is still out there. i heard he was with a larger boat company like vespoli or empacher or something. try the us rowing mag. they might have some adds or something. i am just curious. what are you using the plans for? are you going to actually build a boat or just use it as reference?

    thx aquafiend65
but do you have more info about this "famous" graeme king?
i am not a boat designer and i am not building a boat
i am only an architect and i am designing a rowing club in italy and for my render and for my 3D presentation drawings i need a 3d rowing boat file to have more photorealistic renders!!!
can you help me to find this man?
    again thx ;)

i found this phone number on the web. 1-(802)-387-5373. it is supposedly to mr. kings boat shop. i didn't try it. i work at a boat house here in southern california. we have several manufacturers represented. one thing i can tell you is that theywant to sell you their boats. having said that you may want to ask several of them to provide you with drawings. if they think it will increase their chances of selling boats they will be more likely to help. good luck

aquafiend, that number is in Putney, Vermont, which just happens to be where Graeme King's shop is these days. I'd say it's a goo'un.
Tee real question, arch3d, is : Are you looking for a rowing shell (as in racing) or a rowing dinghy as in getting supplies from shore to boat?

and thx for the link to quantum, i'll send them a e-mail!
i think it will be difficult to obtain drawings from them but i'll try!
