I am a believer. In the sense that I believe it to be prudent to be somewhat realistic at times ;-)

Hi, so may be one of the 25577 can tell me if exist any propultion device or engine that use the expansion of the water to produce power (like stirling for air), in our idea of a no petrol waterworld, i will think on water as my working fluid, i am new on the forum and dont know if this thread can be linked if exist
in my past colaboration to this i propose a submersible , did some one remember the movie THE VOYAGE OF THE NAVIGATOR??? some like that ship

    RSAlvarez,
Welcome to you too, - I have my doubts - Sailors are generally a little conservative and your best bet may be sail or solar (photovoltiac cells) the latter seems to be developing new ideas and better batteries and electric drive/generators etc.

The first post here http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/showthread.php?t=21880 will link you to similar threads that may help.

It has gone a bit quiet there, as people are waiting further information/press releases from the identified sources in the threads... - there are about 4 or 5 threads that are all cross linked on the first post....

    Good reading and enjoy...
