    To Scott Carter,

#23 I know it is a long way back, but if you read these still you may like to know my great grandfather was the first person to die in Australia from carbon monoxide poisoning from a boat exhaust.

If you run your exhaust into the bath tub, you may be the first person I know who will meet him to discuss just what went wrong.

Not wanting to offend, but I thought that a boat was made ugly by placing sticks and rags on top of it. There does not appear to be many real boats out there of beauty. I am sorry I can not see beauty in something which required wind and rags to work...

A modern variant of the Rampart 48 from the 1950s'/60's?

Well I have to show a little bias first off:

And my favourite specimen of the class:

Then for the more classical crowd, the beauty that got me interested in boat building and design, the Glen-L Amigo:

    And a little less 'traditional':

How about this Agusta Mv :) .. I still wonder what the Ducati would look like :p

Powered by a V8 made from fusing two MV Agusta F4 1078RR 312 engines together. The resultant 2156cc, 308bhp, carbon fiber–hulled monster is called the F4 Interceptor. Motorcycle engines have long served duty in jet skis. Previously, the most powerful was powered by a 250bhp, supercharged Kawasaki ZX-14 engine with a top speed of 68mph.
