cold mold VS Infusion>>strength/weight/cost

    .........I'm consulting with a fellow on an ambitious project where he wants to be sailing a new infusion boat this fall and the drawings are still with the designer!--I'm suggesting that in building the plugs,with only a bit more effort,the plugs ...if cold molded...could magically become an initial product to test/train with,while infusion production is sorted out...THE BIG Question is the comparative #'s ...how is the weight strength comparison between these methods?? Oh yes ,the third priority is to be resourceful,,and probably the costs to get final product FAST would lose some of this!!
    I'd surely appreciate any comments!!......thanks....michael.
