sportfisherman plans

Hi I'm new to this forum.
I have the idea to build my own sportfisherman in the 30' to 40' range.
This because i'm in the Caribean and I planning to build this boat strictly for tournament fishing mostly in Aruba Bonaire Curacao and Venezuela.
Do any one know where I can buy a set of plans and problably cad drawings.
This because I want to buildt it a cold molded boat and I plan to let some one and the U.S cut the frame for me on a CNC. If I'm able to get the plans for the hull only would be of great help.

few people designing and building in that method, but one very successful guy is Don Senior in NZ
If you are serious look up telecom white pages NZ, and give him call, nice man and has some superb game boats

Don often using the double diag glassed over method, his entrys are fine and the deadrise flattens aft to give best running with it performence and best up wind performance

 

that is one beautifull boat man I'll be looking to get in contact so he can give me a qoute on a hull. I'm basically looking for a hull so I can build around it to suite my fishing needs

Holy cow, that looks nearly identical to the boat we're making! Even the weight, hp to speed ratio, degree of bow flare...amazing. Liked the article too...appreciate the link. The old salt behind our design spent 3 decades longlining out of the Chesapeake and has had a few scrapes as well. Seems like guys who should know like a fine entry, flat hull at the transom, a good beam, an economical 20+- cruise and a hearty chunk o' glass.

juiceclark nice boat love that jig idea but i'm not planning on production boat.
Back here in Aruba whe have 2 international billfish tournaments 1 in Curacoa 3 in Venezuela with an year long billfishery and wahoo and bottom fishing.
Venezuela is about 15 miles far and Curacoa is 60 miles. That means no need for 30 knots maybe 24 knots is more than enough.
