How differentiates front and top in streamline superstructure

    In structure computation,i want add a longitudinal stiffener in front of streamline superstructure, but i don't kown how differentiates range of front and top, so i don't confirm the span of the stiffener.
    please give me some suggestion, thank you very much

    I would split the span at the deepest point of stiffener curvature. I think you pointed that in your sketch.
