i try freeship now but i want ask u if anyone have tutorial to make a offset file i try to do it but i don't understand it from manual. i need to know what he mean from following:
1)Distance of aft contour line to origin on each waterline. does he mean distance from the outer line in profile to orgin.
2)The last column represents the height of the contour line on each station. and wht does it mean buttock or something else i didn't get it.

there is somethinmg how i can get hydrostatic data bcz when i go view then hydrostatic it gives me table but always parameter contain 0 except draft so how i can use it to get hydrostatic and cross curves bcz that wht i need

You will not get hydrostatic information if the hull leaks. If you post your fbm file I will fix it up.

You can set the waterlines, stations and buttocks using the menu <Calculations> <Intersections>. I usually bin the ones that are automatically set and reset multiple planes at even values.

Waterlines are horizontal slices measured plus and minus from the zero vertical reference.

Stations are vertical slices running longitudinally, measered from the zero longitudinal reference usually at the stern of the hull.

Buttocks are vertical slices running plus and minus across (transverse) the hull with the centreline at zero.

I found tutorailin freeship site combatible with the Supply i have

i found this file of drawing on the free shipsite and i review linesandit's nearly the same as thesuplly i try to make modle for it i tried to get crosscurve values and didn't give me all valus for all angle at desired displacment i don't know why if u can try it and tell me it didn't give fullrange of values.

Your txt TOS file is not right.
Attached sample files TOS31.txt are for Delftship 3.1 and TOS32.txt for 3.2 version

I could not open your fbm file. What version of Freeship or Delftship are you using? I will upgrade to 3.2 and try again.

I could open the "Parent+07" file. I have attached the data and a screen dump from Freeship.

The limit for flooding when fully laden is between 20 to 30 degrees. You would need to deck the hull to get higher angles of heel.

I was able to open your Offset.fbm with Delftship 3.2. I have fixed the leaks and enclosed the deck so it can completely roll without swamping. I have attached a screen dump of the cross curve at full displacement. You now need to determine the height of the CofG to get the righting moment at the various angles.

I have also attached the modified file. You might need to adjust it to make the shape correct. There were some wierd kinks in what you supplied.

i just to ask abt "Parent+07" why cross curve forlarge angledidn't give me valus for righting arm for full range of displacment.
i know use old version of delftship and i download it from boat design i want to ask abt if there is any tutorial of how can i make offest.
i really want to thank u very much for your responce to my questions.

I have renamed the file and attached it so it should be clear that this is the modified file.

I have decked this hull completely so it can be completey rolled to 180 degrees without swamping. Unless you deck in the hull it swamps once the hull heels too far. It only needs about 30 degrees of heel to bury the gunwhale when fully laden.

You highlight the gunwhale and transom <ctrl> <MouseClick> and extend both edges in the transvers direction at the same time. Then highlight all the extended points <ctrl> <MouseClick> until you have them all. Set the "Y" value to zero for all these points to get the deckline to the centre of the hull. This way you should have no leak points in the entire hull.
