hi I am building a 24ft aluminium sport type fishing boat I have a alpha 1 gen 2 outdrive and I am going to use an isuzu 2.8 td diesel engine , I am going to make a stainless steel heatexchanger and run a sealed system on the engine and the pump in the leg to run water through the heat exchanger.what size is your boat, what drive are you using

Building an aluminum Diesel, why use a heat exchanger? Why not an integral keel cooler, welded on the inside of the bottom? Or do you need cooling for the outdrive?

If thats a peugeot 309 you are referring to have a look at www.leomagill.co.uk and go to the 'project puggit' button, lots of marinising pics.
