What Is this a Pic of

Hi can anybody tell me what this boat is please, It is 36 foot long x 7 foot six inches beam and was powered by two V8 Small block petrol engines.
It only has one engine in it at the moment and the legs have been removed and weights 3200 kg. Thanks for looking.

I have no idea if the pictured boat is one of these or not, but the hull shape and general profile very much reminds me of many different models of Webbcraft boats. Most later Webbcraft models had a similarly short waterline length to LOA ratio. I don't know if it was to save costs or make them look racy, but they all sort of looked like the pictured boat. The larger models were also very narrow for their LOA.

Their larger, go-fast oriented models were usually called Concordes. These were all show, no go boats, typically underpowered, and not taken very seriously by most boaters in the market for this style of craft. Design-wise, I remember thinking how painfully dated Concordes seemed while comparing them to their competitors at boat shows in the late 1980's.

As far as I know, Webbcraft went out of business in the late 1980s or early 1990s. They enjoyed a good reputation for many years, but in the last 10 years of business or so they didn't ever really innovate on anything and lost popularity. They had a factory in Collinsville, Oklahoma, USA, a town that is near where I grew up.

There are still many Webbcraft boats running on many Oklahoma area lakes, especially Grand Lake O' The Cherokees, near Grove, Oklahoma.
