you're a liar DANISH ,maybe your english is not good enough to know what you wrote[conveniently i should say] but anyone can tell you that what you wrote is derogatory and is exactly what i said [yes you don't mention money but what else would that agenda be even WALRUS IMPLIED THAT].......now would you retract your words ,fine !.........saying you meant something else is just a joke ,but then again maybe is typical.

    Korvello,

I already responded to that post. You obviously haven't a clue about what premises your arguments are based on. Read the above posts.

I have no need to erase anything. And I much prefer yours to be here to speak for themselves.

Really? Isn't it funny how things again are twisted by you? You have been playing a victim or the last several pages, first saying something along the lines of "I'm just an uneducated poor man, whereas you have money and an education" - now all of a sudden, it's the other way around, and you're the bright one that has seen the light?

Yes, I figured that a while back – you wouldn't have commented on the language, unless you were a believer, who thought he was in his right to demand that any and all other people should cater to his personal set of rules.

Fortunately, most people can think themselves. That includes most believers. Some, unfortunately, find all their reasoning in the circular argumentation of their favourite book of myths.

Korvello I take it then that you dont want to help Gamage relocate to America?
Have you done anything to help him? Have you written to the addresses he posted? He asked if someone would do so. I take it that you have?

    EDIT
What am I doing?-- why do I bother,--im going down pub.

Not at all. It's bloody plain english. It isn't some technical matter or some clever (or not so clever) pun. It's effing plain english. To be taken as it reads. And it bloody hell reads as I explained to you.

Wait a minute! You know what you just did? You just made a full-on strawman! First you come up with a made up reply, and then you respond to it, as if it were, thereby - in your mind or to the gullible reader - it will read as if I made a poor argument. But I never said anything like that. You're really far out if you have to grasp at straws (yes, yes, pun intended, once again).

You have grown very fond of the word "convinient", haven't you?
I'm sorry, but you're once again making an unsubstantiated claim: I, as my "kindred spirits" (read: atheists), don't "prefer" to be any way further from that book than from any other book. You see, to us, it's just a book. Fun reading - a must-read to some of us - but that's about it.

Haha, sorry, but that kind of depend on which god we're talking. There are so many books of myths, so statistically there's very little chance that your favourite would be the right one (i.e. the one with the notion of a "hell" in it. You know - that notion was introduced at a later stage - funnily enough most widespread when people were needed to be kept in check by the people in power).

Hmm, where most people get it. You're talking like the bible is the _only_ place _you_ try to get that from.

I really don't care. I do know, though, that I won't be joining, becuase a discussion with you about religion will make your circular argumentation and invalid arguments based on false premises even more widespread.

But, seriously, I am certain he hasn't. Not even close to it.

thank you GAMAGE i needed that! .......and NOW for the record i would like to address the forum about what i will call the THREE MUSKETEERS: that in their state of semi awareness in between beers go around threads with their STUPID JOKES and WORTHLESS COMMENTS bullying thread owners and guests alike: most put up with it either because they buy into it, take a higher road or think that they serve as DECORATIONS to their thread been the JOKERS that they are i guess!........ why are they even in this forum is the question, maybe AA was to boring...... and so they have now escalated to the point that even senior menbers ,polite and respectfull have to be embarassed and called derogatory names by such losers ,WHO'S GOING TO BE NEXT ?............i'm for one even been just a simple junior and just stopping by once in a while won't put up with it, AND HAS GAMAGE SAID IN SUPPORTING MY ASSESSMENT OF YOU MAYBE IT'S TIME TO SOBBER UP,BEHAVE OR TAKE A HIKE YOU'RE NOT WELCOME AT LEAST IN THIS THREAD.

Well this thread has been well and truly hi-jacked and used to insult others - not exactly what this forum thing was started for is it? Jeff set up the forum for reasonable argument that is the be done politely but vigouriously! NOT as we have seen over the last couple of pages (apart from Frosty trying rather unsucessfully to calm it down)! Cool it guys please! It would appear that 'Danish' has the good sense to leave it a bit let us hope Korvello has also?!?

Just one other thing worries me - how does Gamage have the effrontary to state he is a Senior Member with 99 posts, most of which have been on this thread? OK he says he's been here for may years but again like everything else he does there is no proof other than his join date of April 2002! So he joined then but has he done anything (other than this thread) since to substantiate his claim to Seniority - there is no proof he even visited the Forum between join date and now?!

Just interested is all, no doubt you'll have some pathetic excuse Gamage, that will work for you and your 'running dog' but the rest of us????????

If you "click on" Gamage's login name on one of his posts a small "menu" will appear. One of the items gives you the ability to view all his posts. Select this "view all posts by..." and you will indeed have the opportunity to view ALL of threads Gamage has posted to. Whether you're "for" or "against" Gamage, I strongly recommend this, and start with the FIRST one. Reading all of those threads and Gamage's participation therein has definitely made my mind up (I'm pretty much still where I was at the start of this whole thing, just in case anyone's curious, and there I shall remain!) :!:
