I am an ex Camper & Nicholson UK Project Manager with 2 degrees. The first degree is in Technology & Management and the second in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering. Most of my expierience is based around the building/refit of sailing yachts(both cruising and racing), in the size range 30-100 feet. I would really like to find a job in the Middle East or Far East building yachts or powerboats. If anyone has any input please get in touch.

    Pitt,

Why don't you get with a project to develop shallow draft water rescue craft? This need not be for swift water "Hollywood events", just simple high gross capable evacuation craft for flood disaster areas.

You might note that the majority of Katrina's victims did not need rescue, but evacuation.

    Cheers,

    Ray Tostado

Thanks Ray it sound interesting and a good build project for Thailand or SE Asia. No problem designing and building them but someone needs to finance it.
