I have a Minn Kota Powerdrive 36 lb. version 1, model MKJF-0223162 that I have been working on. I replaced the lower motor to get it working, and the motor that turns it left and right, servo type, was seized up, I got it free, but am now having trouble getting it to turn in the left direction. I noticed that there is what seems to be some sort of diode jumper from one lead to the other on the servo motor. I have switched the wires on the leads to make sure that it is not a problem with the motor itself and have replaced the foot pedal with a new one, so both of those are not the issue. I believe it to be a wiring issue, as I am not getting any voltage coming to the motor when the left pedal is pressed. I think this diode jumper thing is the key, any ideas? the print out on the diode is 7K180.
