1. The Marketplace Forums can be useful for members who know one another well from forum discussions and offline communications and wish to post boatbuilding tools, drafting tools, molds and tooling, and other professional equipment for sale or trade. However, caution and good judgement should always be used. Especially when considering any business with anyone not already well known to you and trusted, due diligence must be used to confirm details and identity and be sure the transaction is safe before any money or property changes hands. Always use good judgement and perform due dilligence and follow these guidelines.

Hello to all forum members. My name is Brad Taylor and I'm located in the Piedmont of NC. I am an avid duck hunter, school teacher and part time boat builder. I've been building duck boats for several years out of plywood and fiberglass Toller Boatworks

I have recently come up with my own design and plan on a couple of more. I am interested in making the transition from part-time builder to an occupation. I've been looking into having molds made and am very interested in the input from members of the fourm.

Here's a picture of the design I recently completed.

Any information or insight you could give is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Brad

I have owned a business for 5 years now. It is a complicated matter... but so very satisfying. I now am learning design and intend to follow a similar path as they are my ultimate passion. Congratulations and best of luck!

    Best Regards,
