sleeping quarters

    Alan brings back memories - as a student, I worked on the cross channel ferries and anyone who knows the North sea will understand pitching and rolling. Much later, I was involved in prawn and tuna fishing, the latter in the roaring 40's. On one occasion, we had two massive Gardner's going flat out but after 2 hours were actually further astern than when we started, possibly due to the green water breaking over the bridge pushing us back . Guess where we slept? Yes on the deck - amidships if possible
