The is no need for deck putting deck equipments unless they are extreeeemely large. so no need. Surfaces can be added in maxsurf and the model can be read into hydromax including the surfaces. I wonder why you need to add those things.

Thank you for your reply. But in some program I have used like DFhydro we must to put values of area surfaces above draft and also center of this surfaces for calculating stability. In Hydromax I don't see any where to put it

It add properties of the hull surface to the loadcase automatically.. ( like thier weight and CGs ) this could give an estimate for the initial weight and vcg of the hullplating. the surface properties given in max surf will be taken. (the thinkness and material assigned in maxsurf. ) hope I have explained.

To add the windage areas to apply wind heeling levers, you add it into the heeling levers diaglogues within the criteria section.

You can add it in as an addition to the hull projected area or the as an extra area and it is calculated automatically.

I assume this is what you are looking for.

Hi all, I understand clearly what issues in your post. And additionaly i have questin for you. Normally When you calculate stability with weather criteria, you must put roll angle. How can put it in Hydromax? Thanhk you advance

I don't understand what you mean "roll angle"? But in my opinion when you do analysis KN values in Hydromax. You can put values of heel angle in Analysis/heel and also in this tab you can put heel direction port or starboard side.

    Sorry Thai
I don't understand you why we use roll angle (goc chong chanh) in Hydromax? Because of the program uses according IMO rules (I think Vires needs this values only for river boats). By the way I used this program for caculating stability but they have not any comment.
This is english forum I don't want to write vietnamese althought my english is so bad. If you have own web site or blog I would like to see it. Thank you
