Finally :) i registered to boatdesign forum and i can communicate with this fantastic boat-hollic community!I am 30 years old and i studied Naval Architecture Marine Engineering at N.T.U.A. A year ago i started designing a small rib with rhino and i would like to complete the project and build the boat.
I am seeking for a boat enthusiast from Greece, with theorical background in the design o boats to help me (i don;t mean financially).I want to share thoughts and knowledge and ...why not start a small company.
I want also to learn more about the construction of the tubes, which is a subject that i can find a book or a techical paper !:?:
I invite all you my friends to travel to sunny Greece:cool: , meet me and speak with me about boatbuilding !i could also help with the sight seens.
Finally i would like to thank very much the guys that posted the papers of SAVITSKY in pdf dowloadable format! It is very important to help eachother in finding knowledge and solutions in the subjects that we are interested!!!
    See you !

Hi and welcome to the forum. It is a good place to communicate with like-minded enthusiasts. What sort of tubes do you want to construct. If they are carbon then maybe you should buy them from a specialist company. I do, and they are far superior in quality than what any back yarder could ever hope to construct. If you want the name of the company in Australia let me know.
Regards, Sam. By the way, I have been to Greece and had a very good time.

Hey berglia --you can talk Greece cant you,--yer I know you can.

I love greece. I put it into a gun type thing and squeeze it into my ball joints through my nipples. I also use it to lubricate my shaft.

It helps to stop friction and heat build up and will also stop rust build up on your shaft pipe.

Exellent stuff --I dont know why no one thought of it before.
