This being a rather open discussion...... and yours being the last post SailDesign, I've been wondering about the little set of punctuation marks that always complete your posts....
At 1st I thought you weren't attaching your 'smilies' properly, but am I correct in thinking that it's a smiling face on its side?

It's properly called an "emoticon" or some such BS, and basically follows the route of:
Smiley
;-) "Smiley with a wink"
;-P Sticking tongue out.

You get the picture. It's really because I'm too lazy with a dialup to wait for the full reply screen to load up, so I go with the text-only version.

Jes' got back online this AM, the California fires don'cha know.
I too agree that the pertinent comments be moved to the appropriate Forum.

PS: the fires did not threaten us but apparently they knocked out some DSL doo-hickies in the hinterlands.
