I just purchased a wiring harness for $40 bucks. I'm finishing up an 18' mahogany runabout and hope to use this harness in it. A label on the harness says, "MALIBU BOATS, SUNSETTER." I'm curious if there is documentation I could track down on this beast. Any info would helpful.

Is there an industry standard on color coding wire harnesses?

    Wiring color codes

    Answering my our questions.

Rather than try to use as is (probably a bunch of foolishness anyways), it looks like a better option dissassemble the harness and put one together specifically for my boat that isproperly color coded.

Just throwing in some links to industry standard color codes so that the grandkids(when they come) will be able sense of my work.
