Wave resistance

Calculating the resistance of catamarans differs from the monohulls due to some extra drag.The major effect is the wave interference effects between the hulls.It varies subject to the type of the hulls which can either be symmetric asymmetric or etc.The best way for you to get the result is to run CFD,there will be some spikes of course but presumably gonna give the best.Cheers

 

There is no need to "run CFD" if you are just after the optimum spacing of the hulls. There are some reasonably simple formulas that you can use. See for example:

I have calculated it to michlet but now i am checking all the inputs in winedt , It seems to be working will post some results tomorrow and you can give your opinion about it .
