I'm not familiar with them, but you might try asking Jim Russell - Jimboat(at)aeromarineresearch.com

Ah - there is an indirect mention at least in the offshore only forums in an excellent post by T2x:

    Dutchman Tunnel Boats

    Dear Dave,
It sure is unusual to be communicating with someone about the "Dutchman".
Needless to say, it sure brings back a lot of memories.. I have a bunch of photo's if you Would like to see some of them i can make you an album and send it to you in a zip file.

In the meantime here is the brochure that we used. It's the only one ever made.

Drop me a note and tell me what you would like to know and I'll respond as quickly as I can..

    Thanks for the Interest...

    BILL

    Bill,
Thanks for your quick reply...I would love to see the pix....please send them to me, a Zip file is fine. My boat is the 17' Spoiler and looks just like the one in the brochure you posted. I am interested in the history of the company, how many boats were produced of each variety, etc. If you have a spare copy of the brochure, I would surely be interested in that. Kindest Regards,
    Dave

    Barracuda Tunnel, 1970

Hello from Alaska, this is my first post. I was searching on Tunnel boats and ended up here. I own a beautifully restored 1970 Barracuda Tunnel, it's 16', and looks a bit like the Dutchman showed above. If anyone knows anything about Barracuda Boats please post here. This boat has been in Fairbanks since 1970. It has been known to throw passengers right out in the drink it turns so sharp with earlier owners. When it is opened up a little the bow floats nice and high but it's not hard to control. GREAT in rough water. I am thinking about building a new wooden tunnel, and gathering information. I am attaching a couple pics. Thanks all!

    Dutchman Tunnel

I owned several Dutchman Tunnel boats. Have several original brochures and knew the builder personally. Raced Dutchman for a period of 5 years.

    Dutchman Boats

I know this is an old thread but some of you said you had pics of Dutchman Tunnel hulls. I would love to see them. I am restoring a 1970 Dutchman and would love to see some photos. I have a couple pics from the owner of the company and the sales pics. Thanks
