Stern extension

    Nothing further to add,depths of winter here.Further testing this coming summer.
    I am pretty sure its an improvment all round.Especially in light of modifying both ends.The bow job however is a heck of a lot of work.

    Further update.
    It is now summer here:) and the boat is being raced now,general feeling is the boat is better balanced and faster alround.
    The stern extension has been trimmed back to 60mm from 800mm and the rudder is now transom hung.
    The new finer bow slices through chop much nicer,the wake at the stern is very very clean.
    Next project is the new rig....

    something like this,not mine but what I based mine on.
    Quite a few boats like this have now had extensions fitted,all with positive results.
