the picture of that boat brought out the old teenage devil in me.

For some reason I had the distinct urge to throw a rock and run...

A pox on you hans! You truly have no soul. She is a loverly boat. The glass and stuff just makes it. There is a flashy glass boat doing the rounds at Canary Wharf, London. I have to restrain myself from stealing it every time I see it. I want to take it home and take care of it, and show it love and attention. :)

    RE: "Dream Maker"

I think that there should be a special rule in force on that boat that all communication between skipper and crew must be in verse, like this:

"The anchor, the anchor, hoist it up now!
Winch it clear to the top of the bow!...

I'll hoist your darn anchor, yes hoist it I will,
Then with the tootle-y tiller I'll till!

    :D :D :D

    Ultra retro mod

Without getting too over the line on this... This boat has more than a hint of a WWII B-29 bomber in its design cues and I kinda find that very weird. Especially when you consider the fact that the B29 was the type used to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki. pic below

If you wanted to maintain the retro bomber theme, it could easily pass for just about any of the very cool bombers of the day that had all those windows around the nose.

Still, it is pretty interesting design for what is probably a commuter launch or sightseeing boat.

Yes we have a few close to that in Cornwall, but most of that standard are half sunk at least, until the tide comes in!

I've seen that craft before, someone mistook it for a hovercraft.

It's just a tour boat, right?

These are all pretty ugly boats, but the ugliest production boat I can recall laying my eyes on is the hideous carver mariner. I dont recall ever seeing a carver that i liked, they litter the lake i go too. The first is the older version  A Newer 35 mariner (like 2nd pic) named "Hurricane Bob" used to be docked next to my families '74 Trojan F-36, Very close resemblance to free willy if you ask me!:p
