hello mag. well the best i can doo is a 40' x 14 house boat. the design is not recomended to be extended, so i guess you would be taking a risk if you did. the plans are designed by an ex us navy architecht and they look pretty good.

have a look at the plans online an http://www.boatdesigns.com/departments.asp?dept=7

i have left a mesage to you somwhere else but this one has a direct link.

there are other houseboat plans too but i dont think i saw on up tp 60'.

as an after thought, if you want a 60 footer wht not just build two and bridge them together, that way to can have them side by side somtimes and in line at others depending on the circumstances, and to possibly seperate them if needed to.

good luck mag and let me know how you are getting on.

    China,

I've seen these posts in other places too. Good luck on getting things together.

Here's a website showing the boat you want to build. I just gave a set of plans to a guy in Australia. The Sandilee is modified a bit from the original plans and I understand that the builder got an offer "too good to refuse" and sold the craft in Florida shortly after completeing the build.

You can get an idea of the entire process by following the links to all the constuction pictures. Have fun.

    http://www.mkt-info.com/sandilee or Google Sandilee houseboat.
