Here is my question about centerboard location and balance:
As far as I know, regular monohuls require 5-12% "adjustment" forward of balance point between center of effort of the sail plan and underwater shapes (blades) to compensate for the heeled hull shape under way(assymetrical waterline shape tends to turn a monohull). Is there any compensation required for a trimaran to offset drag of the leeward amma in the water? Any rules of thumb out there?
I am designing an under 30' spartan sailing tri and would like some thoughts about this point.
    Thanks in advance!
