I am putting a reverse scoop on the forward part of a center console for the discharge of the macerator pump from the forward fish box. My only thought was that it might have to much pressure when slamming for the pump to handle. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

As long as the discharge pipe is not directly exposed to the bottom, i.e. the eductor (because that is what it is) completely covers the pipe opening and the only opening in the eductor faces aft, then I would not expect the slamming pressure to enter the pipe due to the shortness of the event.

However, as you may know, if the eductor is in the water at speed the eductor will suck water through the pump, leading to possible cloging. or collaspe of non-supported suction hose.

BTW, how is the weather down east...my father lives over in Newport.
