Com-Pac 27 -- what do you think of it?

The US-built Com-Pac 27 has just arrived in Australia. Seeking feedback from those familiar with it. Unlike most production boats its size, it does seem to have offshore-capable displacement/stability. Particularly interested in hearing from those who have sailed one in strong conditions (wind speed, boat speed and handling details) and light winds. If you own one, what particularly attracted you to this - negatives, positives etc.
I will be reviewing this boat for an Australian magazine and may use some of the comments in that article. Happy to email anyone who contributes comments a copy of that article.
I will also be doing the new Catalina 309 down track, so comments on that also appreciated.
A few stats on the Com-Pac 27, which was designed by Bob Johnson, CEO of Island Packet Yachts and is being marketed as a coastal cruiser, LPS 131 degrees (the highest by far of any production boat under 40 feet I have ever tested in Australia), long, shallow-draft keel (draws 3ft 6inch), ballast 2500 lb, disp 6000 lb, LOA 29ft 7, LOD 26ft 11, LWL 24ft 3, beam 9ft 6.

Performance, Com Pac 27 vs. Catalina 27

I did some performance comparisons a while back comparing a catalina 27 vs. compac 27 (see attached file), I hope this gives you some idea how sea worthy the com-pac 27 is.
I was suprised at the data.
