    i am a naval architect student from india doin my project on hydrofoil craft design.i am plannin to go for water jet propulsion.wat type of engine shud i use..a gas turbine or a diesel and why..can anyone suggest a typical engine used with sfc and dead wt.

    That depends mainly on the size of boat, the speed of the boat, the weight of the boat, the fuel available in your area, the duty cycle of the engines.... since you have provided none of this information in your post, it is impossible to even speculate as to what you might consider.

    me goin for a 22 metre ship,43 ton and 36 knot .
