You ever hear of the "Hawkeye Handout" ? It's where right wing lobbyists on behalf of other right wing leaning industries paying money(bribing) to right wing elected officials to channel government money back to the same and other right wingers.
Most people call that SNAFU, and others call them "welfare kings".

Fred, it would take me a thousand lines to post the left wing indeciencys. Leave political crap for entertaining your friends, and do not post it here.

So, wingnuts can burp up the latest hysteria from their favorite fake news source, but rebuttals are forbidden???

    Got it. Typical.

    Are we forgetting something ??

I have changed the motor on my boat FROM SMALL TO OVERSIZED so the 3 tanks of fuel i have take me everywhere faster and get ME to places and have more time to fool around and sit and do nothing .
Last year i went back to nz petrol as $2.16 a litre ,year before $1,85 ,2013 it will be closer to to $2.30 or more But i only use my boat once a year so i dont mind .
My son used to pay over $600.00 to fill his boat with fuel ,now its closer to $800;00 so he goes out and stays longer where the fish are and fills the chilly bins with fillets and leaves the rest ! Just change the way you use you boats and think a little more .
Fish never was a cheap food and never will be . catch you own is a really exspensive pass time ,But if you push aside the cost and add the pleasure and the peace and quiet , and the relaxation and most of all freedom ,All that is pricless !! :D:p:)

Hey rasor and imp, do me and both of you a favor and put me on your ignore list. What's good for one but not others is OK to you two, but not me.

    And, I didn't vote for him, twice. I'm not pro-Obama, I'm anti-nutter.

That's a very weird non sequitur. No one has even mentioned green energy for a while. So how the **** did you manage to segue from oil industry paleontologists to Obama???:confused::confused:

Since we're all in the same boat, I'd say this thread is relevant....:D

Sdowney, I found your postings to be quite interesting. I've not even gotten thru all of them yet.

However it seems we have several posters who don't want to learn anything,...just post garbage and ruin the subject thread. So I might suggest you take this subject matter onto a new subject thread....perhaps entitled "the Origin of Crude Oil, an alternative explaintation" Then leave them to argue over god and politics on this one

Forum rules or not, RWs shouldn't come here with religious BS or political BS and then whine when they get it back.

If the topic has drifted to $5 gas, the why of $5 gas is most likely political, one way or another.

The original topic, boating or choosing a boat for higher fuel prices, seems a good fit for the Powerboats forum. But it would be best to take the jabs about one party vs. the other and other heated politics to a political forum please.

Here is a list of other forums where political topics would be welcome:

But those forums are no fun, they're just full of regular nutjobs. Here, we have boating nutjobs which is much better.
