Want to convert from jet to outboard

Hello everyone.
Im a new member here and am looking for someone in my area to do the fab work to convert my (newly acquired) boat from jet boat to outboard. I live in the Salem Oregon area.
It is a 20 foot alumaweld all aluminum fishing boat. It had a jet drive in it. It is totally stripped of all parts and is ready to be worked on.

Also, any recommendations on aluminum flooring?
My son and I are building this boat as a project and I really do not want to put any wood in it.

Your comment, it had a jet in it. So it was an inboard jet or an outboard hung off the transom

If inboard, weld a piece over the intake but have it done in such a way that the deadrise is constant from ahead of the intake area, before they did the transition in the hull to the intake
Then you will have to modify the transom to accept the outboard, as it will not have the correct shape or strength in its current condition

If an outboard jet with a short tunnel, fill in the tunnel keeping constant deadrise as above, you might have to raise the transom cutout where the outboard jet was attached but you will not know this until
you rework the short tunnel

 

It is an inboard jet. It has what seems to be a large platform on the rear of the transom. I am not skilled enough to do the fabrication work but was hoping to find someone in the area. I appreciate you answering my post.
