Talking of executing people I saw on the Tv last night another state in America has just signed the --no capital punishment law. I forget the state but these states are in the minority.

Apparantly --the BBC reporter went on to say,-- America is the 6th in the world for executing people. They rank at the top of the list along with Irag ,-iran - and of course China.

BUT dont get me wrong here Im for capital punishment --not as a punishment but to get these (obviously very sick) people off the planet and to take away there right to the gene pool. Self confessed homosexual Child murderers etc should be destroyed. If you need some one I will do it and I will sleep at night.

Castrate the rest,-- dont worry about thier rights ,--they don't give a hoot about yours, and another thi----oooppss what thread is this?

that is one of the things I admire about china ,,,to a point,,,murderers ,drug dealers and so on are swiftly executed,,,,they have a very low crime rate as a result,,this is very correct,,but killing because you have a different opinion of the state?? I must differ,,but please ,lets get back to boat building ,,as I have stated very early on ,,I have no grudge against any man who wishes to work ,,( read my threads)I will use brake drums for an example,,,,a company in America had over 100 years making brake drums for heavy trucks ,,,,they thought it would be cheaper and easyer to go to mexico and china,,,that company went belly up in 6 months,,,,,,,,why,,many things and many trials have had to take place before ,to get it right ,,chuck pressure ,,casting ingreediants ,,and so on ,,not to mention the heavy machines, that required a 6 to 8 ft concreat floor to stop vibrations and so on,,all this was learned over years and years of expiriance,,trial and error,,,,,,,China is the new kid on the block,,,,,,I sincerly wish them well ,,but right now thier govt is thier own worst enemy ,,ha,,, just like mine ,,,boats are like brake drums ,,as far as manufactuing,,,much knowledge and ,,trial and error,,,,,,,longliner

Keep the dodgey politics at home gents please. It"s almost Xmas. Peace on earth and goodwill to all men etc.

ps I worked in China for 15months at yard on 2x33m yachts.

A Scotsman in the US (Ohio?) who has been on death row for 20 years, was due to be released yesterday but had a heart attack moments before release, so will spend another Christmas in jail. He spends 23hrs a day in solitary confinement in his cell (imagine that for 20yrs!) and at one point was 1hr from execution. The US capital punishment system is barbaric.
Anyway, Merry Christmas one and all!

    Market changes

I have some experience building yachts in China and working for several years on yacht projects in in Asia. My feeling is that there is a chnage in the air and the head long rush into China will slow down and despite the initial attraction of low labour costs, and seemingly lower production costs, many yachts builders, and in particular their clients, may well consider either 'back to bases' in the US and Europe, or more extreme locations.

Pi I think to make your point valid you should at least include "what did he do"

Dont you think that is important ?

What if he had beaten up ***** and then killed a young girl that had gone to the shops for her mother.

Just give me a moment to compose myself after that thought.-----

If any one is short of executioners --give me a call.

Gun rights?? yeah well I think that is just too big of a discussion ,but enjoy it while you can I would say you had a couple of years left.

The words --"The right to bear arms" were very carefully considered on a Tv documentary a few days back. It is now thought --and being offered in evidence in an up coming court case in America in the new year that the right to bear arms meant that the country had the right to bear arms and not the civilain individual.

Yeah a couple of years tops.
