    Can I pushback?

Won't blo leave voids behind as it oxidizes?

It will as it ages dry out and crack. If it cracks it will let in salt water, I never think of using it really for anything.

The best treatment for steel threads in a harsh environment is an Copper-anti-sieze_.jpg aluminum-anti-sieze_.jpg anti-seize thread coating. The lube includes a metal like copper or aluminum and will keep the threads between the nut and bolt like new. I have removed heavily rusted nuts from deck gear exposed to salt water spray for decades. Often with heavy wastage in the bolt body and nut. But the inside threads protected by thread coating were like new.

The only downsides are it must be done each time and this stuff WILL allow an unlocked nut to loosen easily. Dirtied up anti seize becomes thread lock.

Not sure about galvanics, but it certainly has a place.

Anything that seals threads to nut will work. You could use Rectorseal T plus 2.
Or seal the nut to bolt with epoxy, heat to loosen.
