Remote Sail Drone starting testing

It's good to see that these remote drones that got a mention a few months ago, have made it to testing phase.

Built in the USA, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) of Australia is going to deploy these drones to monitor Ocean conditions in Australia and the Antarctic.
As the video says, they will be able to avoid AIS enabled vessels, but Icebergs might be a problem.

After all the drone discussions over the years, the design seems to have solved most of the major problems.

No need to dock, moor or anchor a sailboat any more. It can just cruise the coastal waters on autopilot like a drone.
It can be called back to harbor, or swim in from shore. (Just a joke) The drones made it. I am glad.
