    Hello
I would like to modify a fishing boat to make it habitable.
minimalist project, it is not to live on board but to make it comfortable for cruises of a few weeks.
my project is to optimize the rear space to make it "the" living room, and to use the bildge at the front to make the night part, obligation to cut the deck for the headroom.
I am a good handyman, I am thinking of carrying out this project in malaysia where I would find craftsmen to recondition the engine as well as for wood or fiber.
Do you think this is a feasible project without major difficulties, or on the contrary a source of trouble ...
    thank you !

The aft cabin always gives me pause. It is so nice to have an aft deck area; even if small.

    Welcome to the Forum Chris.
Your post mentions that a stock photo was removed due to copyright concerns - can you post any photos of the actual boat that you want to convert?
Nobody can tell you if it will be feasible or not unless you supply more info.
