Hello i'm new at this forum
I've working a project to do stability analysis of a 163 m tanker ship with maxsurf. I've made the all of the tank as internal structure with modeler and everything seems right.

But a problem occured when i was creating with those boundary surfaces in maxsurf stability. I'm pretty sure i've entered all of tank surfaces. But after i updated the loadcade.. The result was not the same as surface created in modeler. I have no idea with this problem. (I'v attached some picture)

Thanks for your help. I'm sorry for my poor english too.

Try using more sections to define this tank. ???
If this is not possible, for stability calculations, replace the tank with a parallelepiped one, without chafers on the edges. The volume will be very similar, the position of the CoG and the correction for free surfaces almost the same.

Thanks for the answer. But what do you mean with using more section? do i need to use more surface to define this tank?
I spent the whole day just to make those tanks, it's impossible to replace them :(
I wonder why this problem happened, i've created 14 tanks, but only 4 tanks has this problem. (i uploaded pictures). I've also tried to "re-make" those tank with new surface, it doesn't work.

I was referring to using these options although I am not sure they will help much.

Could you upload your model to analyze it?

    Hi TANSL

Sorry for replying late. I've tried to recalculate the section with higher precision, and you were right! I needs at least 200 sections to define the surface.
Thanks for your solution, TANSL. It helped my research so much and I really apreciate it :)
