Old Design needs Updating Help

    RumnCoke, you must be a good RC sailor if you have collected trophies in an active class. It ain't easy.

    I used to be involved with EC12s. Florida is a hot bed of activity for that class. The class is tightly restricted and everone is sailing the same basic boat. The best sailors consistently win. They are the ones who get perfect starts, never seem to miss a shift, magically select the right rig (A,B,C,) and never foul. My Marblehead is twice as fast and I doubt that I could beat the top EC12 sailors. I might beat them to the beer cooler after the race but that's about all. :D

    I thought about an EC12 but not much activity on this coast. I foul occasionally, I don't always get the best starts, but I hang in there and keep a level head. The Beer Cooler sounds great. ;)
